Blog Post week 8 (post 2)

One of the problems we faced was that some of the footage we shot had uneven lighting, with certain areas of the frame being too bright or too dark.

To fix the lighting, we turned to post-production tools such as color grading and correction software. This allowed us to adjust the brightness, contrast, and color balance of the footage to create a more consistent and cohesive look. We also used techniques such as masking and keying to isolate specific areas of the frame and make targeted adjustments.

While this process was time-consuming, it was also a valuable learning experience. We discovered that even small changes in lighting can have a big impact on the overall look of a project, and that careful attention to detail is essential when shooting and editing a film. We also learned that post-production tools can be incredibly powerful when used correctly, and can help to salvage footage that might otherwise have been unusable.

In the end, we were able to successfully fix the lighting issues in our film opening project, and we were pleased with the final result. While we would have preferred to have captured the footage perfectly in-camera, we now know that it's not always possible and that there are ways to address issues in post-production.
